In the past, the recommended solution of uninstalling the monitor, then scanning for hardware changes, logging out, logging back in and installing the dpms worked. LogMeIn will prompt you to send your saved Windows credentials with a single click. I’m having the same problem and the fix suggested here does not work.
Hi This is a great fix. Click the computer name at top, Right click and hit Scan for Changes.
Getting started Community guidelines. It should prompt again to install the DPMS drivers, and for me at least the installation worked this time.
Then scan for new hardware. A window stating my host computer monitor is blanked pops up on my iPad yet the screen is not blank! Clear this option to force anyone accessing the host to manually authenticate by entering a valid username and password. For security reasons, I cannot have my screen being viewed locally.
Then try to blank the screen and it will ask if you want to install DPMS instalk it actually will do it! Select this option if you want all keyboard and mouse actions on the client device to be processed before actions on the host.
Worked like a charm. Go to Device Manager. Somewhere else someone posted this solution that works for me: Just to add to comments above Check with your hardware vendor if you experience problems with the DPMS driver.

This time, I have tried over and over and it still will not install the dpms even though in my device manager it says dpms behind my monitor list. Prevent anyone at logmeln host from using the mouse or keyboard during remote control. Who can use this feature? I have a problem because when I try to blank the host computer’s screen I get a message saying that logmein could not install vpms DPMS-enabled monitor driver.
Screen blanking does not work on my Windows 7 host. What can I do?

Force the host’s operating system to lock when the client disconnects during remote control. Now just log in with a remote client again I used my iphone and go to the connection settings and set it to blank the screen.
